• His teachings: Jesus' teachings were based on the Jewish scriptures and tradition.

Why do people believe Jesus was not Jewish?

There are several reasons why people may believe that Jesus was not Jewish.

• His rejection of Jewish leaders: Jesus often criticized the Jewish religious leaders of his time. However, this does not mean that he rejected Judaism itself.
• His death: Jesus was crucified by the Romans, which was a common form of execution for criminals in that time period. However, this does not mean that Jesus was not Jewish.
