What Does the Bible Say?

The Bible does not explicitly state whether or not we can pray to Jesus. However, there are many passages that suggest that it is both possible and appropriate to do so.

For example, in the Gospel of John, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). This verse suggests that Jesus is the only way to God, and therefore it would make sense to pray to him.

Additionally, in the book of Acts, the disciples are recorded as praying to Jesus. For instance, in Acts 7:59, Stephen prays to Jesus, saying, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." This example shows that the early Christians believed that it was acceptable to pray to Jesus.
