Bathsheba was the wife of Uriah the Hittite, one of King David's soldiers. David saw Bathsheba bathing from his rooftop and was overcome with lust. He had Uriah sent to the front lines of battle to be killed, leaving him free to marry Bathsheba. God condemned David's actions, and Bathsheba's son by David died as punishment.

Jezebel's daughters, Athaliah and Jezebel II, followed in their mother's footsteps. Athaliah usurped the throne of Judah and killed all her grandsons, except for Jehoash. Jezebel II was married to King Joram of Israel and influenced him to turn away from God and worship Baal. Both daughters met tragic ends, paying the price for their evil deeds.
